Leo Club
HMS Leo’s Club 2026-2027
Any 5th -8th grade student that is interested in joining the Leo's Club. Please see Ms. Kalinowski in room 105.
The Motto of the Leo Club is:
Leadership: Develop skills as a project organizer, time manager and team leader
Experience: Learn how teamwork, cooperation and collaboration can bring exciting changes to your community and the world.
Opportunity: Make friends and feel the rewards of the community service.
The Leo’s Club welcomes 5th-8th Grade students to become members. We offer at least one service project a month for students to take part in. To be considered a Leo’s Club member a student has to volunteer or take part in at least 2 service projects. Students will not get a magnet on their locker until they complete two service projects. Listed below are a few of the examples of the service projects.
October- TBA
November- bringing a veteran to the veteran’s day brunch
November- filling a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child
December- Letters to the nursing home
January- Gently used glasses collection
Feb.- Letters to the nursing home
March- May- TBA
