Students participate in Olympics activities during Maymester to encompass all content areas. "Medals" are awarded and tournament homerooms are recognized.

Maymester activities included classes representing a country for their own version of the Olympics.
Our 7th graders recently put their descriptive writing skills to the test in a thrilling classroom contest! In Dr. Zimmer's ELA class, students first brought a monster to life on paper and wrote a detailed description of their creation. Then came the real challenge: a classmate had to recreate the monster based only on that written description.
Every year, HMS is proud to host a special Veterans Day brunch to honor the brave men and women in our community who have served our country. It’s a wonderful tradition and just one of the many ways our students and staff love to give back and say thank you to our local heroes!
